Randomly spotted Biang Biang Noodle in the Vancouver Mall food court. It’s run by a husband wife combo; they make the homemade noodles themselves.
We dropped in on a Friday evening (around 8:15pm).
There’s 10 noodle choices on the menu with 5 sauce options.
You pick the size of your noodles (small, thick or wide).
Chicken noodle (#1) ($8.99 USD)
I went with wide noodles, chili with sesame Sichuan pepper (A5) and BBQ chicken. The BBQ chicken was off putting (too sweet, literally BBQ sauce). However, the noodles had a decent spring to them and the wide shape was excellently crafted. Cabbage added some crunch but they could have gave more. Sauce wasn’t spicy but still satisfied.
Average food court eats at BBN.
