SOMA Kombucha Taproom

Been waiting to try SOMA Kombucha Taproom since I started making my own booch. They have another location in town (self serve, open 24 hours).

We dropped in on a Friday evening (around 5:00pm). The worker was friendly and explained how things work as it was our first time.

We were able to sample 7 flavours on tap along with their CBD and elixir combinations.

Our two favourites were the beet apple and elderberry lavender. Good carbonation and bright flavours.

There were 5 can flavours ($3.25 USD each) along with a few guest kombuchas.

You can also fill up bottles; demi ($4.00 USD), growlette ($7.50 USD), growler ($14.50 USD) or gallon ($26.50 USD).

Cans ($3.25 USD)
UntitledWe bought pomegranate & rose, concord grape, blueberry & ginger and pear & funnel. Interesting combinations that I’ve never seen before. However, the flavours were really light. Most likely because they were jun based (green tea) and rii based.

Rainbow Cloud blackberry jasmine kombucha ($2.00 USD) and JalJeera sparkling soda ($2.00 USD)
UntitledNot much flavour to either of these. The blackberry jasmine was oak barrel brewed. Thes sparkling soda ingredients sounded interesting (mint and cilantro leaves, cumin) but flavours were mute.

Looking forward to trying more SOMA booch flavours.
