We decided to try Lachi Fine Indian Cuisine after checking out the Farmers Market. It’s nearby Angry Vegan.

We dropped in on a Saturday (around 1:00pm). The inside is spacious with plenty of tables. Our server wasn’t too talkative but he came by to refill our waters several times.
The menu is typical Indian fare but we were here to try their lunch specials (available until 2:30pm). Their dinner special ($32.95 for 2) seems like a great deal. We were asked how spicy we wanted our meal (we opted for medium).
Aloo gobi adraki ($9.95)
Cauliflower and potatoes, rice, naan and salad. More of a home style, comforting take on aloo gobi.
Plenty of rice and the naan (sprinkled with parsley) was fresh.
Lamb saag ($11.95)
Lamb spinach was delicious. It’s an extra $1.00 to substitute for lamb or beef but totally worth it. Lamb was tender and included a couple of chunks.
Satisfying, tasty eats at Lachi. Will be back for more next time we’re in town.
