It’s been several years since I’ve eaten at Le Do Vietnamese Restaurant. Sadly, they’re closing at the end of the week (August 21).
Signs.
Hours.
We dropped in on a Tuesday (around 12:15pm) and it was quiet. Our server was friendly and the food came out quickly.
They’ve upgraded the interior since that time.
Impressed that the prices haven’t gone up significantly.
Bun bo hue ($12.45 large)
They ask if you want pork blood and pork hock in your bowl. The broth was on the lighter side and the spice is very subtle. Good amount of beef slices and one large piece of pork. I’d say their BBH is in the middle of the pack compared to all the other Vietnamese spots in town.
Pho tai, bo vien ($12.45 large)
Had a sip of R’s broth; good depth and clean. A bit lighter so we were thinking it’s chicken broth. There wasn’t a drop of soup left in his bowl.
Cash only. Go while you still can!
