Camelot Vineyards

We never check out the wineries in the Kelowna area so this trip, we decided to try a few. First up was Camelot Vineyards. The knight theme is fun.

Tasting fee is $5.00/person (for 4 pours) but is waived with a bottle purchase.

Think it’s normally 5 pours but they were sold out of their pinot gris. Appreciated that their bottle prices already include the taxes.

Our pourer was a friendly, engaging guy. They also hold live shows outside on the weekends (~$22.00 per ticket).

2019 Riesling
UntitledSlightly sweet with a nice liberality.

We bought a bottle ($23.00) for home.

2019 White knight – this was on the sweeter side.

2019 Ruthless rose – a touch jammy with an off dry finish. We liked this one too.

2019 Estate pinot noir reserve – not a memorable pinot noir. There was a bit of a smoky note that came through in the finish.

Decent wines but only done as small batches at CV.
