We decided to check out the second cidery in town, Cliffside Cider. It’s a bit off the main path but easy enough to find.
We dropped in on a Sunday afternoon (around 4:00pm). There’s a ton of seating outdoors (a mix of tables and bar style seats) and all of it is sheltered from the rain.
You need to go up to to place your order.
They had 7 cider options on tap (5 staples (usually 6 but one was already sold out) and two feature ciders) along with cocktails ($11.25), margaritas and a few beer options.
Their ciders lean towards the dry scale. There’s also a food truck (Flipside Burgers) out front if you want to order food.
Flight ($7.95 for 5)
Each sample is a mini mason jar (2 oz). We opted for the peach passionfruit, Tina louise (ginger), cherry bomb, unicorn pee (chicha de pina) and apple jacked.
Didn’t particularly love any of them but the one we enjoyed the most was the ginger.
The apple jacked was our least favourite; very watered down in flavour. For us, the ciders didn’t pack enough flavour or offer anything unique.
We love ciders but CC’s didn’t tantalize our palate.
