We had Love’s Ice Cream on our list to try so after having lunch nearby, we walked over to grab an ice cream in the rain. They make their ice cream using local grass fed milk. The ice cream and waffles cones are both homemade.
Hours.
Couple cute signs outside.
We dropped in on a Sunday (around 2:30pm). No line due to the non-stop rain. There was a dozen flavours to choose from (real fruit swirl and hard scoops). Setup is very cute and cozy as they’re situated inside of an old school mini van.
Scoops are $5.50 (single), $6.75 (double) and $8.00 (triple). They also had roughly 20 pint flavours available ($12.00/pint).
Surprisingly, you can combine the swirl and hard scoop options when you get a double! Sweet.
Double scoop ($6.75)
We went with the local organic blackcurrant and salted caramel. We’ve never seen blackcurrant before; sweet, tart and creamy. You can really taste the milkiness. The salted caramel had good flavour and was also quite creamy.
Cute spot to grab ice cream. Would happily come back to LIC again.
