We’d almost run out of donuts from earlier on in our trip so it was the perfect time to try The Donut Shop. It’s next door to The Sugar Shak.
Hours.
We dropped in on a Friday afternoon (around 3:00pm) and it was busy.
There was a small lineup outside of their back entrance. Service was friendly and quick.
There’s almost two dozen donut flavours. Sadly, they crossed out the maple walnut flavour when it was our turn to order.
Prices are cheap; $1.25 (single), $7.00 (half dozen) and $13.00 (dozen).
1/2 Dozen donuts ($7.00)
We went with the chocolate walnut, maple bacon, chocolate with peanut butter cups, lemon sprinkles, lemon glaze and lemon coconut.
It’s a cakey style donut but still light. Our favourites were the ones with the lemon. Excellent.
Can’t go wrong with affordable, tasty donuts.
