AB Crepes was our last stop before heading out. They specialize in one thing, crepes, and have been around since 2012. They’re next door to Fiamma Burger and Avenue Bread & Deli.
We dropped in on a Saturday evening (around 6:00pm) and it was busy. A couple of large groups came in. Seems to be popular with the university crowd. The inside is a mishmash of old and new, with the oddest layout for seating.
The menu consists of 23 crepe options (sweet and savoury) along with a small drink selection and randomly, cookies ($0.50 US). Sadly, those were long gone.
Order and pay at the counter first then grab a seat. There’s a self serve water station (hot and cold) in one of the corners.
Garlic chicken pesto ($9.66 US)
Chopped chicken, mozzarella, tomato, red onion and basil pesto. The red onions aren’t cooked.
Filling was decent but flavours didn’t blow me away. It’s simple.
Decent but I’ve had much better crepes in my lifetime.
