Sunbake Pita Bakery

Met up with Dbone for lunch at one of our old stomping grounds, Sunbake Pita Bakery. Probably one of my favourite spots in town.

We dropped in on a Monday (around 12:30pm) and it was busy. There’s busy and then there’s Sunbake busy. Seriously, the door never stops opening. Order at the counter and wait for your number to be called.

The menu is up on the screens. They also have a great variety of nuts.

Corn nuts ($1.79 per 100g)
DSC06988Fresh, crunchy and slightly toasted. This is the spot (the OG) where I discovered my love for corn nuts.

Chicken spinach melt ($5.50)

Pitas are light, thin and fluffy but with a slight chew and crisp.

Meat pie ($3.99)

Zatar ($2.99)

SPB is still as busy as ever. Solid pies and still so reasonable.
