Never been to Happy Lemon before even though they have two other locations (downtown and Richmond). They’re located in the same plaza as Love for Pho, Todak Todak and Happy Tree House BBQ Restaurant.

We dropped in on a Sunday evening (around 8:30pm). It wasn’t overly busy but a few groups popped in while we were there.
The menu is typical; salted cheese, tea, matcha smoothie & tea, lemon, lemon slushy, milk tea, specialty and dessert (aka. bubble waffles).
You can customize your sweetness and ice levels. They also have a top 10 menu if you’re having trouble deciding.
Avocado matcha latte smoothie (C3) ($6.99 large)
Pricey but we decided to give it a go. The avocado was smooth but a touch too icy for my preference. Didn’t get much matcha flavour.
Not sure if it’s worth the $7 price tag.
Roasted milk tea with bubble (F9) ($4.69 medium)
M got his 50% sweet and let us try a sip. Still quite sweet for my taste buds. Standard.
Glad I finally tried out a HL branch but not my first choice for BBT.
