Category 12 Brewing

Our first brewery pit stop was at Category 12 Brewing. We’ve seen there beers around but have never tried any so it was a perfect opportunity.

The manly mugs ($28.00) were cool ceramic pieces but expensive.

Sweet that they have the 4oz tulip cups ($4.50) for sale.

They had 8 beers on tap along with a few snack options.

Sadly, they didn’t have any of their elemental sours available to sample.

They have cultured kombucha ($7.00) as an alternative to beer.

Flight ($8.00 for 4)
DSC00690We went with the hiatus (farmhouse ale), juicy data (hazy IPA), super symmetry (oatmeal stout) and convergence (bourbon barrel aged with cherry).

The only one we really liked was the hiatus; it was like an adult cucumber water in beer format with a hint of lemon.

The beers at C12 were pretty standard. Didn’t hate them but didn’t love them either.
