Rocky Point Ice Cream was our last pit stop before we headed back into the city. I’ve had their ice cream at Yum’s Sweet Shop but wasn’t too impressed with the generic flavours. But this is their original location so it was worth a shot.
Hours.
List of flavours posted outside.
We dropped in on a Sunday afternoon (around 6:15pm). Normally, there’s a huge line but we got lucky and there was only a small one inside the parlour. We tried a couple flavours each before choosing our cone. Service was quick and friendly.
A couple menu displays inside. Besides ice cream, they also serve cakes, blended drinks and coffee/tea.
In case you don’t know how to order…
There’s a shelf of merchandise.
Ice cream cone options.

I believe there was about three dozen flavours.
Vegan mango and vegan lemon basil ($6.00 double scoop)
We added a waffle cone ($1.00). Mango and lemon basil both had a light, smooth, consistent texture.
Flavours are well balanced. Lemon basil is delightful for the summer.
Honey lavender ($4.00 single scoop)
Floral without being too overpowering.
Honey adds a touch of sweetness.
Happy to say that Rocky Point’s ice cream is much more satisfying out in PoMo.
