OneZo Tapioca

OneZo Tapico is a popular bubble tea spot. They specialize in making fresh, flavoured tapioco pearls. You’ll find them next door to Mama Rich. Just look for the lineup creeping out the door.

We’ve been twice and both times have been busy. At least the lineup and wait is quick. The inside only has a couple high seated tables to sit at (10-12 people).

Their fridge is colourful with all the fruits and drinks.

Random marble game they have by the front counter.

The drink menu is split into dirty tea, classic milk tea, tea latte, smoothie lover, fruit tea, healthy option and specialty tea.

They also have their menu up on the walls.

As usual, you can customize your level of sugar and ice.

They also have a popular drink menu (with tapioca flavours of the day) at the counter.

Trip #1
First visit, we dropped in on a Wednesday evening for a pre-dinner drink.

OneZo tapioca milk tea ($5.99 large)
DSC08053We shared their milk tea (one of their most popular options). Good flavour and you can tell that they use quality tea.

The pearls were fresh and had a chewy, bouncy texture. Good but B’s favourite pearls from Boba Monster still reign supreme.

Trip #2
They were already sold out of their dirty tea options when we arrived on a Friday evening (around 9:15pm).

Mango niu niu ($4.99 medium)
DSC08288We added mango tapioca ($1.00). This only comes in one size and sugar level is fixed. Mango tapioca had good flavour. The drink itself is okay but uses artificial mango.

Caramel oolong latte (4.99 large)
DSC08291We got 25% ice and less caramel with Onezo tapioca ($1.20). Unfortunately, the caramel flavour tasted watered down. Stick with the regular caramel flavour.

Tapioca texture is consistently good but again, I found the regular pearls bland.

Decent spot. Will be back to try their dirty tea.
