Trilussa

We were looking for something light to eat before hot yoga. I spotted Trilussa earlier on in the day so I suggested we give them a try. The smell of fresh pizza wafting out the door is enticing. Trilussa specializes in thin crust, Roman style pizza.

We arrived around 6:45pm on a Friday evening and they were slammed with people. Most were doing takeout. It’s great to see they’re constantly making fresh pizza on the go. You might have to wait a bit but they’ll make your order fresh if it’s not on display.

Couldn’t help but grin at the “danger men cooking” sign. The service is a bit erratic though as everything is run by only two people.

The menu is up along one wall. There’s a slice of pizza, soup or salad and drink combo for $8.99. Not bad.

Drinks up on the counter. Seems like they really like Fentimans and Italian nectars.

Vancouver ($9.98 for 6″ double)
DSC03032Salmon and organic salad. We had to wait for this once but it was worth it. Salmon was fresh. Slices are thin but have a great bite.

Ham and cheese ($8.40 for 6″ double)
DSC03033Not sure what the name of this pizza is on their menu but it was delicious. Came out nice and hot from the oven.

Solid spot to grab a few slices.
