After checking out a warehouse sale, we were looking for a quick pit stop to grab dessert. We’ve seen the watermelon and cotton candy specials at Milkcow Cafe so we decided to give them a shot. They’re a Korean dessert cafe that specializes in milk soft ice cream. Interesting that they have another location in Toronto.
Slogan is cute: have a soft day.
Hours.
We dropped in on a Sunday afternoon (around 3:00pm). The inside is small but modern.
The menu is split into organic milk soft serve and drinks (coffee and tea).
Souffle pancake looked interesting. Saw a few people ordering it.
Surprised to see they had half a dozen macaron options in their display case.
The black sesame mandarin and green tea & jasmine sounded good.
Soft serve ($4.75)
We added hazelnut syrup ($0.50) and pistachio crumble ($1.00). The pistachio sprinkle isn’t worth an extra dollar but the hazelnut syrup was good.
The soft serve itself didn’t wow us. You could tell the milk they use is a little fattier but overall, it didn’t taste like anything special. Look at the hollow inside. Weaaaaak.
Honestly, this reminded us of Soft Peaks. Overpriced but good for the Insta.
