We were still feeling gung ho after dinner so we decided to check out another spot, the Bard and Banker. They have live music every night and are open late (till 1:00am)!
The inside is cool. That’s pretty much a given seeing as it used to be a bank. Service is great. Our waitress constantly checked up on us.
We came for the live music (love no cover). The band played for about two hours and it was a nice mix of new (Alicia Keys, Ed Sheeran) and old hits. Place was bumping for a Sunday evening.
Happy hour is everyday from 4:00-6:00pm. We didn’t order any food but it would be nice if they had a late night menu to go with their late hours.
Their drink menu is massive. They even have wine flights ($16.00 for three 3 oz), beer flights ($14.00 for four 6oz) and whisky flights ($20.00-44.00 for four 1/2oz).
Summer flight ($14.00)
Somersby cider, Hoyne summer haze honey hefe, Stanley Park sun setter peach wheat ale and Phillips raspberry wheat ale. No idea why they would put Somersby on a flight. Raspberry wheat ale was actually good. They also throw in a small glass of pretzels.
Check them out if you’re looking for a place to drink with live music!
