Hours. Open early for all those downtown offices.
Couple signs outside promoting their products.
We dropped in on a holiday Monday (around 3:00pm). Really busy as people were coming in non-stop. Odd that they were playing country music.
$1.00 for day old (unfrosted) cinnamon buns.
$5.00 homemade cookie dough.
The menu is simple: base (classic old skool roll) is $5.50, frosting ($0.50/flavour) and topping ($0.75/topping).
Otherwise, you can choose from 6 options in their display case.
The cinnacake ($45.00 small to $65.00 large) looked promising. But pricey.
They also have brownies, baby buns, cookies and beverages.
Cookie Monster ($7.67)
They ran out of cream cheese frosting (how? blasphemy) so we had to settle on the old skool base. The cookie monster came topped with cookie dough (way too sweet), chocolate chips and chocolate sauce.
There’s no way you’d want to eat one on your own. Sooooo sweet. Feels like you’re getting diabetes with each bite.
Honestly, I don’t get the hype. Overpriced and nothing special. We both agreed that this was a try once type of place. Walk the extra two seconds to La Carraia for real dessert.
