We decided to check out a brewery on the drive back from Whistler. We ended up at Howe Sound, which is more of a bar/restaurant than brewery. Interesting that they’re related to R&B Brewing in Vancouver.
We dropped in on a Friday afternoon and it was busy.
There’s trophies and merchandise outside of the main entrance.
Price list for all their merch.
Hoodies, t-shirts, tank tops; you name it, they’ve got it.
Price list for bottles and cans.
Closeup of the bottles. Will say I like their bottle design/branding.
Couple more random bottles they had on top of their display.
There were 8 regular and 8 special flavours on tap.
Happy hour is 3:00pm to 6:00pm (Monday – Thursday only).
Cool that they have live music on Friday and Saturday nights.
There’s also plenty of pub food to choose from but we’d already eaten.

Their daily specials also sounded decent.
Flight tours ($8.00)
You choose four 5 oz samples. We went with the juicy double IPA with mango (from their guest tap, Foamers Folly Brewery), pumpkineater imperial pumpkin ale, garibaldi honey pale ale and jam session raspberry cream ale.
Always a bad sign when our favourite is from the guest tap. Rest were mundane and light in flavour.
Doubtful that I’d come back again.
