Buckets Ice Cream is another spot to specialize in the liquid nitrogen hype. It’s a few steps away from Anh and Chi.
I like the logo.
Signs out front beckoning you to come in.
We dropped in on a late Monday afternoon after window shopping along Main Street. The inside is small but there’s two tables and some window sill standing room to people watch while you eat. Water is help yourself at the front.
They even have a kids playing corner. That little chair is too cute.
Wish you could taste flavours but you can’t since they’re made fresh to order.
There were 5 flavours to choose from along with ice cream sandwiches.
This is what you come here for: the show.
Apple crumble ($5.50)
We added the waffle bowl ($0.50). The ice cream was smooth and creamy in texture, but not in taste if that makes sense. I think that’s just how liquid nitrogen ice cream is based on my other experiences with it. Different than your old school, traditional hard ice cream. We appreciated the apple chunks inside; tasted just like apple pie.
Decent but unlikely to come running back anytime soon. Have yet to be blown away by the liquid nitrogen phase.
